Inside with pocket, business card and business letter
The kit cover was designed using my two chosen spot colors and included a pocket to hold a business letter and business card.
Research
I did my research by looking through the provided samples in class. While there were a lot of really elaborate and complicated designs, I decided to keep my layout simple and focus on the colors and DESIGNS within it.

I experimented with different types of folders I did just a plain folder, then I did an arch shaped corner folder, and then I also did a flower corner. The flower pocket was a collective favorite during the critique. I decided to pursue it against my best judgment.
Intermediate
I decided that the corner arch was not a very good pocket, since it would cover essential parts of my design. I chose to further pursue the traditional folder pocket and the flower pocket.

Computer Progressions
I made numerous dummies of different ideas. While you can get the idea from the drawings. And from the layouts on the computer, it’s much more realistic to imagine when you have something in your hand that you can open and close.
