The project objective was to utilize the Pen tool to trace the hand-drawn typography and produce an illustration that has a polished and professional appearance, along with being personalized and distinctive.
In this exercise, I had the opportunity to explore the versatility of the pen tool and experiment with various techniques to bring my creative vision to life. To achieve crisp and well-defined edges for geometric shapes, I utilized the copy-paste-merge-delete combo, while for the more intricate and organic shapes, I employed the "trace behind" feature that Virag recommended in the tutorial.
I adore the color scheme that I made as well as the playful patterned background that I created using the pattern builder tool. To ensure a streamlined workflow and prevent confusion, I labeled each layer with its corresponding element. I won't deny that mastering the curves in some of the shapes required significant effort and attention to detail, but I'm thrilled with the final outcome. I'm looking forward to continuing my practice with the pen tool and refining my skills, with the goal of creating even more impressive and dynamic visual designs.
